About Domaine Georges Mugneret-Mugneret-Gibourg

Winemaking isn't just a man's game. Since ophamologist Georges Mugneret passed away in 1988, this domain has been run by his widow and two daughters. They've not only refined the style of their wines, they've also taken back vineyards they used to lease out.
Together, the three women produce some of the most striking wines in Vosne-Romanée. Their best offerings? Three Grand Crus: Ruchottes-Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, and Echezeaux. These Pinot Noirs are remarkably elegant, pure wines with a long track record of aging gracefully. Production at Georges Mugneret/Mugneret-Gibourg totals approximately 32,000 bottles per year, including Premier Crus and villages.
