Built to Last Decades, Enjoyable at Every Stage

When nature smiles on the picturesque terraces of the Douro Valley, nothing matches Port for its sweet concentration, black-fruited density, and phenomenal ageworthiness. This gorgeous ten-year Tawny shows the rich complexity that’s kept Quinta do Noval atop the Port pyramid for decades.

Delightful and lightly candied on the nose with aromas of raspberry jam, figs, mint, pink peppercorn, violets, and caramel, the palate balances jammy and caramelized sweetness, along with a kiss of acidity. Flavors of baked red berries and plums meld with caramel and lightly honeyed notes, adding hints of spice as it builds to a satisfying, warming finish. Parker's Wine Advocate heartily agreed, noting the this tawny's "perfect balance" in their rave review before adding, "The juicy, delicious finish is irresistible and has more intensity of flavor than most 10 Year Olds."

Quinta do Noval has been making Port since 1715, including some of the most acclaimed bottles ever produced. With multiple 100-pointers under their belt, they never seem to have an off day. Named “one of the iconic estates in Portugal's Douro River Valley” by Wine Spectator, their tawny is a pristine example of Port at its finest.

The vines at Quinta do Noval grow on steep slopes held in place by hand-built stone walls that trace the contours of the hills. The grapes are crushed by foot to extract color and tannin without crushing the seeds, which can add bitterness to the wine. Fermentation is short and intense before the wine is fortified.

Pop this bottle now alongside chocolate or a classic stilton, or tuck this collector-grade gem away for years. Whenever you open Quinta do Noval, your palate is in for a treat.
