Today we’re thrilled to bring you three treasures straight from the winery cellars in Ampuis: the 2020 La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque Côte-Rôties, all of which boast stratospheric scores and critical raves: 

The 2020 La Landonne earned 98–100 points from Wine Advocate and Jeb Dunnuck, both of whom used the word “star” to describe it. “If you ever wanted to try a truly great young La Landonne,” Dunnuck notes, “this might be the one given its incredible fruit and texture.”

The 2020 La Mouline garnered 98 points from James Suckling and 97–98 from Dunnuck, who called it an “incredibly classic La Mouline” with “floral, perfumed red and black fruits, spicy oak, roasted meats, and exotic spice that's to die for.”

Finally, the 2020 La Turque floored Suckling and Dunnuck to the tune of 98 and 97–99 points, and the former summed the wine up perfectly: “Great concentration and underplayed power on the full-bodied palate, but also graceful, the generous dose of toasty oak almost perfectly integrated.”
