    Napa Valley Generosity and Grace

The Arrow&Branch Red Wine Napa Valley is one of the most elegant Right Bank-style reds that we've ever tasted from Napa Valley. It’s a tiny-production bottling that strikes the perfect balance between textbook Napa Valley ripeness and Bordelaise class.

Crafted in and perfectly cellared since one of the greatest Napa Valley vintages of all time, one sip of the 2015 Arrow&Branch red will show you why we can't get it off our mind. Showing a medium ruby color, it’s got powerful, fresh, and vibrant red fruit on the nose, and shows a tiny touch of age with dried herbs and flowers. The palate is ethereal and seamless, boasting rich fruit accentuated by cedar and vanilla, and soft, plush tannins that give the wine substance without heaviness.

Whether you’re into Old World or New World red wine, this is a must-have that fits in with the most elegant reds made in Napa today.

The Contursis purchased the Arrow&Branch estate from legendary Etude founder Tony Soter. It consists of five acres tucked into the Coombsville AVA, just northeast of the city of Napa, and boasts all the characteristics that make this one of the region's most sought-after locations for Bordeaux grapes. Like Carneros to the south, Coombsville benefits from the cooling breezes that come off of San Pablo Bay, but the morning fog burns off much earlier. With bay breezes cooling the vines on summer afternoons, the area enjoys a long, slow growing season that allows Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon to thrive.

The Cabernet Franc comes from a single block of vines (planted in 1990) on the estate, which is maintained by renowned viticulturist Michael Wolf. Balanced by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from hand-picked sources within the Coombsville AVA, the wine was ushered to the bottle by winemaker Jennifer Williams, who learned under Rosemary Cakebread and Vine Hill Ranch’s Françoise Peschon. It's a gorgeous portrait of Napa Valley Bordeaux-style elegance.
